I admit it. The perfumes are my favorites. So personal, so singular - each like a different flower to me. I can’t begin to describe how much I love the various creative processes that lead to each scent. Some are inspired by a springtime walk in the woods, or a trail run over red dirt in the fall. Some are designed for their aromatherapeutic effect, and end up being customer favorites. Some are mistakes that turned into wonderful discoveries. The entire process is totally enchanting to me – from conception to the incredibly peaceful process of actually making and filtering the scents, and even filling the bottles by hand. I did not wear perfume before I started Osmia, as most perfumes are not natural, and are way too strong for my taste. Now, I carry them with me wherever I go, and use them as reminders to stop and appreciate all the little, simple, beautiful moments that make up my life.
